Build Mode

Select a row or layer; counts match the pattern. Completion marks every block in that unit. Empty units need no blocks.

Stack size

Estimate: check the stack limit of your chosen block or item.

Print the blueprint, or choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog.

Choose your shape

Choose a diameter from 1 to 128 blocks. Build a solid sphere or a hollow shell with adjustable wall thickness.

02

Make it your own

Move the layer slider from bottom to top. Every layer uses the same aligned X/Z grid, so keep its centre fixed as you build.

03

Build, block by block

Check the whole-sphere block count, mark placed blocks and download the current layer as PNG or SVG. Share links include the selected layer.

How it works

Sphere · Layer

A block is included when its centre lies inside a sphere of radius diameter ÷ 2. Hollow mode removes centres inside a smaller sphere; top and bottom caps remain. Thickness is measured radially, so visible row widths vary. This is a voxel approximation, not a smooth surface. Progress is saved across layers in this browser. Downloads and printing contain only the selected layer.

How are the blocks calculated?

Are my settings and progress saved?

Pattern settings, theme and marked blocks are stored locally in this browser when storage is available. Resetting progress removes its marks. No analytics or advertising scripts are included in this version. The hosting provider may process connection and access logs. Shared links include settings, not build progress.

Example Builds

Tower base: 25×25 outline, wall 2. Repeat this footprint upward; leave a doorway before raising the walls.

Load example

Arena: 48×32 oval outline, wall 2. Lay out the perimeter first, then add seating outside it; the count covers only the perimeter.

Load example

Well: 9×9 outline, wall 1. Keep the centre open for water; repeat the rim upward and add supports separately.

Load example

Hollow sphere: diameter 25, wall 1. Build from bottom to top and keep X/Z aligned; support overhangs temporarily.

Illustrative diagrams — use the generator for your exact dimensions.

Keep layer centres aligned

× Wrong
A layer shifts away from the centre.
✓ Right
Keep the same X/Z centre on every layer.

Do not skip a layer

× Wrong
A missing middle layer leaves a gap.
✓ Right
Build every layer from bottom to top.

Close the hollow sphere’s caps

× Wrong
A hole left at the bottom or top.
✓ Right
Follow the cap pattern, even in hollow mode.
