Build Mode

Select a row or layer; counts match the pattern. Completion marks every block in that unit. Empty units need no blocks.

Stack size

Estimate: check the stack limit of your chosen block or item.

Print the blueprint, or choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog.

01

Choose your shape

Set a diameter, or choose an ellipse with a separate width and height. Each square represents one block.

02

Make it your own

Choose an outline or a filled shape. Adjust the grid, colour and zoom to make the pattern easy to follow.

03

Build, block by block

Highlight a row, mark placed blocks, and download your pattern. Your progress stays in this browser.

How it works

Odd or even? Find your centre.

Odd diameters have a centre block. Even diameters have a centre between blocks. This tool samples a symmetric ellipse boundary, fills each row and removes inner layers for outlines. Other tools may round the boundary differently. Dimensions include the outermost blocks.

Built for your next big idea.

An independent block-pattern planner for circles and ellipses. Use it for tower bases, wells, circular floors and garden layouts. It creates a 2D plan, not a world file or automatic in-game build.

Are my settings and progress saved?

Pattern settings, theme and marked blocks are stored locally in this browser when storage is available. Resetting progress removes its marks. No analytics or advertising scripts are included in this version. The hosting provider may process connection and access logs. Shared links include settings, not build progress.

Example Builds

Tower base: 25×25 outline, wall 2. Repeat this footprint upward; leave a doorway before raising the walls.

Load example

Arena: 48×32 oval outline, wall 2. Lay out the perimeter first, then add seating outside it; the count covers only the perimeter.

Load example

Well: 9×9 outline, wall 1. Keep the centre open for water; repeat the rim upward and add supports separately.

Load example

Hollow sphere: diameter 25, wall 1. Build from bottom to top and keep X/Z aligned; support overhangs temporarily.

Radius vs. diameter

× WrongD
Measuring only half the width.
✓ RightD
Measure the full edge-to-edge width.

Place the centre correctly

× Wrong
An even-sized grid centred on a block.
✓ Right
Even sizes centre between blocks.

Keep the pattern symmetrical

× Wrong
An extra block on just one side.
✓ Right
Mirror the pattern on both sides.
